Lichtenstein shlit"a was inaugurated as Rosh
Yeshiva, joining Harav Aharon Lichtenstein shlit"a,
Harav Yaakov Medan shlit"a and Harav Baruch Gigi shlit"a.
Harav Yehuda Amital shlit"a, founding Rosh Yeshiva, while
continuing his involvement with the yeshiva, has officially
retired as Rosh Yeshiva. We wish Harav Mosheh much hatzlacha
in his new capacity.

Rosh Yeshiva Harav Yehuda
Amital informed the beit midrash of his upcoming
retirement as Rosh Yeshiva, and the upcoming installation of
Rav Mosheh Lichtenstein.
Rosh Yeshiva Harav Yaakov
Medan gave a pre-Selichot lecture, in
hebrew, at the Fifth Avenue Synagogue, New York City,
on Motzaei Shabbat September 20th, at 11pm, followed by
Selichot. Program was dedicated in memory of Zina Gontownik
z"l.
Rosh Yeshiva Harav Baruch
Gigi and Rav Pini Cohen joined Har Etzion's alumnus Rav
Doron Podlashuk ('96-'04) in dedicating a new Kollel in
Johannesburg, South Africa, le-hagdil Torah
u-le-ha'adirah.
Yeshivat Har Etzion
welcomed 65 new Shana Alef talmidim, 4 new Post College
talmidim, 34 Shana Bet, 2 Shana Gimmel, 3 Post College, 3
Machal volunteers, and one Oleh Chadash entering the
Hesder Program! We wish them much
hatzlacha!
